Stephanie Rickard is a Professor of Political Science in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics. Her award-winning book,?Spending to Win?(Cambridge University Press), examines how economic geography shapes national policies and international economic relations. Beyond academia, she actively engages in policy debates, including shaping the UK’s subsidy control regime. Having lived and worked in several countries, she offers a global perspective on the complex interplay between politics and economics.
